JetKVM
I just recieved a JetKVM as a gift from my brother, and as someone who hasn’t tried a (physical) KVM switch before I was impressed. After plugging everthing in (I also got an ATX extension board for remote power on/off), I thought “yeah this is cool”. The KVM was plug and play (auto-configuring with DHCP and showing the IP address on the display) and had a nice web interface. It wasn’t until I had decided to upgrade my OPNsense router to the latest major version (25.7 at the time of writing) that I realized how useful a KVM swtich is. When upgrading it’s recommended to do so over video-out or serial rather than a network connection, so you can monitor the full output and still interact with the machine incase of failure (interfaces don’t come up, problems with SSH etc). I was able to do everything from the comfort of my desk, no more setting up a montior and keyboard and sitting in cramped spots while I try to upgrade or troubleshoot devices.
